Private Duty Nursing

At Thrive SPC, our nurses choose to work here because they want to make a difference in a child’s life. Our highly trained nurses help medically fragile children grow to their full potential and provide respite for families. We offer a comprehensive range of nursing services, including:

  • Expert continuous 1:1 care in the home, continually monitoring your child so you can have peace of mind.
  • Compassionate support and education for family members of medically fragile children of all ages at all stages.
  • 1:1 care when your child is in school (with authorization).
  • Skilled visit and shift-based professional nursing 24/7 and home health aide or certified nursing assistance in select locations.

From working with doctors to develop a care plan, taking care of a child’s personal and medical needs, to providing education to patients and family members, our nurses will work tirelessly to improve your child’s well-being and quality of life.

Home Health Aide Program (HHA) in New Mexico

Thrive SPC has offered Home Health Aide services since 2018. As a Home Health Aide, caregivers will assist their child with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) like bathing, grooming, meal prep, oral care, transfers, and skin care.

Legally Responsible Individuals (LRI) HHA Program in New Mexico

If you have a medically complex child who is 21 or younger, you may be eligible to get hired as an LRI HHA through Thrive SPC. As an LRI HHA, parents or caregivers can assist with ADLs for their child and receive financial compensation. Most HHAs who are not legal guardians are family friends and relatives hired at the request of the patient’s family. Because of the current state policies, HHAs may only provide unskilled care.
