Christian’s Back-to-School Skills

Christian, Aveanna patient at North Houston ClinicAveanna patient Christian joined our North Houston Clinic for therapy services in June of 2018. He came to us with significant delays in fine and gross motor skills as well as speech.

From the very beginning, Christian had incredible support from his mom, Annette, and made significant improvements during his first year in therapy. However, the amount of progress we have seen in Christian over the past three months has been remarkable!

Now, Christian can dress independently, make himself snacks, and write like a pro. He passes each new challenge with flying colors. Christian recently qualified for the “gifted and talented” program at his school. He’s going back to school this year with increased ability, thanks to his Aveanna therapy team and his mom, who advocates for his needs daily.

Christian’s story inspires us and reminds us of the power of therapy. He is just one example of why we do what we do and the impact that therapy can have on a child’s life.

Congratulations on your amazing progress, Christian. We can’t wait to see what you learn next when you go back to school this year with your new skills!
