As we continue our celebration of the Year of the Nurse, we want to honor Registered Nurse Tiawania Prescott, an incredible caregiver from our Charlotte, North Carolina location.
Tia has been an Aveanna nurse since 2014. She completed the LPN to RN fast track program while working overnight shifts with her Aveanna patients. Tia continues to look for opportunities to improve and learn all she can in her new role as an RN.
Tia currently cares for a client with a g-tube, trach, and vent who was born 24 weeks premature. Tia has been the stable, long-term nurse on this case, providing the consistent care her patient needs since they were admitted last year. She has also provided education to first-time parents, helping them adjust to home care.
