Davis and Nurse Meg
Published March 11, 2021

Davis has been with Aveanna for about nine years now. He’s had several nurses work with him over the years, but Davis and Nurse Meg have developed a special bond. They enjoy every day they get to spend together. We asked Davis and Meg what Aveanna means to them. Here’s what they had to say:

“Aveanna means family,” Nurse Meg reflects. “It’s a dedicated team of caregivers and office staff providing compassionate and exceptionally proficient care to medically fragile children on a level above and beyond anything I have experienced in my 30 years of nursing! I am proud to be a part of something that can be so life-changing, not only to children and their families but to my own work experience as well.”

“To me, Aveanna means a group of nurses who care for me,” Davis shares. “Nurse Meg is nice, caring, and loving. I love Aveanna.”
